Pleurotus ostreatus
(Also known as Ping Gu, Hiratake, or oyster mushroom)

Pleurotus, also known as oyster mushroom or wood mushroom, is particularly rich in proteins, vitamins, polysaccharides (especially pleuran) and powerful antioxidants such as flavonoids, phenols, glycosides, tannins, triterpenes, alkaloids and beta-glucans.

This wealth of bioactive compounds gives itprotective properties against oxidative stress, responsible for cell aging and numerous chronic pathologies: cardiovascular disease, diabetes, liver damage, chronic inflammation.
