Agaricus blazei (also known as'Himematsutake)

Agaricus is a rising star in the world of medicinal mushrooms.
Native to southern Brazil, where it thrives in the hot sun of the São Paulo region, this mushroom was once known only to the inhabitants of the small village of Piedade and the surrounding area. Their remarkable health, longevity and low incidence of cancer made them famous - so much so, in fact, that the mushroom was nicknamed "royal sun mushroom", "divine mushroom" or "mushroom of life".

Since its discovery, modern research has confirmed its potential foractivating theimmune system and fighting tumors.

According to popular medicinal tradition'Agaricus could help à relieve :

• Autoimmune diseases: atopic dermatitis, seborrhea, psoriasis, Crohn's disease, colitis, allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
• Certain types of cancer: Ehrlich's ascitic carcinoma, colorectal, ovarian, breast and lung cancers
• Osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, alopecia
